Thred Up Haul!

I work for a company that consists of both cooperate and operational areas. I fell in the operational division with the IT unit. When I started with the company I wore mostly wore formal wear, and not uniform. As time went by I realized that buying clothing was taking big chunk out of my salary, which I could have used otherwise. So I asked my them supervisor about getting uniforms, and I was told uniforms were only given to operational staff.

So time after I was given the opportunity to work overtime within an operational area in the company, and one of the requirements for working OT was to be in uniform. So based on this I was issued uniforms, which I also wore during my normal hours of work,  because in addition to the uniform given, I sourced the company that provided the shirts for the company and bought it straight from them.

There was any problem at the time about me wearing uniform, and although I was the odd one out in the department, my aim was to save as much money at the time to achieve my goal of owing a car for travelling to work.

Some of the advantages of wearing  a uniform to work were that it was mainly more affordable. I spent quite a bit less on buying outfits for works, which can run thousands of dollars. Secondly there was not guessing and spelling as to what to wear, unlike a uniform, I could just put it on and go. The was no time wasting wonder what I am going to wear the next day.

Well all that has change now, because it's now a requirement that wear dress clothes to work. For years I have been searching for a site that is affordable, and I finally came across Thred Up. Thred Up is a consignment store that buy clothing from individuals and sells it a price that is still less than the normal retail price. The site mostly cater to kids and females.
